Common Bentley repairs and services
Modern Bentleys share a lot of engineering with the wider VW Group, but they add weight, power and luxury systems that need careful work.
- W12 engine care: misfires and coil packs, spark plugs, coolant leaks at the pipes in the engine valley, turbo oil feed and return lines, and crankcase vacuum leaks.
- 4.0 twin-turbo V8: hot-side turbo coolant lines, ignition faults and oil leaks.
- Air suspension: air struts, compressors, valve blocks and height sensors on every modern Bentley.
- Active roll control: 48-volt Bentley Dynamic Ride faults on the Bentayga and later Continental GT.
- Transmission: ZF 6-speed and 8-speed automatic fluid service, and dual-clutch service on the third-generation Continental GT and Flying Spur.
- Brakes: large steel brakes and carbon-ceramic options. These cars are heavy, so pads and rotors wear quickly in city traffic.
- Electrical: battery drain, multiple-module faults, soft-close doors, window and convertible top systems.
- Cooling and A/C for the large twin-turbo engines and four-zone climate systems.
- Scheduled maintenance with oils and fluids to Bentley specifications.
Bentley models we service
- Continental GT and GTC: all three generations, W12 and V8.
- Continental Flying Spur and Flying Spur, including the hybrid.
- Bentayga: V8, W12, Speed and Hybrid.
- Mulsanne with the 6.75-liter V8, plus earlier Arnage models.
The third-generation Continental GT shares its MSB platform with the Porsche Panamera, and the Bentayga shares the MLB Evo architecture with the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus. That familiar ground is a big part of why our VW Group experience carries over.

Bentleys in the South Florida climate
A Bentley’s weight and twin-turbo heat make it sensitive to Broward’s climate. Engine bays on the W12 run very hot, and under-hood plastics and rubber hoses age faster here than in cooler places. Coolant leaks are one of the most common reasons a Bentley comes to us.
Air struts face the same problem. Sun, heat and salt air along A1A and the Intracoastal dry out the rubber air bags. Many Bentleys in Fort Lauderdale are second or seasonal cars that sit for weeks. Sitting is hard on batteries, so owners often return to warning lights or a car that will not start. A battery tender and a quick check before a long drive prevent most of these calls.
Paint and leather suffer in the sun too. Our in-house detailing and ceramic coating team can protect both.
