Common Alfa Romeo repairs we handle
- Battery and charging faults. Alfa Romeo electronics are sensitive to low voltage. A tired battery can cause start-stop errors, brake warnings and infotainment glitches all at once.
- Integrated Brake System (IBS) warnings, brake pads, rotors, sensors and fluid on the Giulia and Stelvio.
- 2.0 turbo four-cylinder: boost leaks, turbo and intake hoses, sensor faults, misfires and oil service. Our smoke testing finds vacuum and boost leaks quickly.
- 2.9 twin-turbo V6 in the Quadrifoglio: ignition, cooling and scheduled service.
- ZF 8-speed transmission fluid service and shift faults, plus Q4 all-wheel-drive transfer case service.
- Suspension: front control arms and bushings, which wear with Broward potholes and expansion joints, plus alignment.
- Cooling and A/C: water pumps, thermostats, hoses, condensers and compressors.
- Tonale plug-in hybrid: 12-volt systems, brakes, tires and hybrid warning diagnosis with high-voltage safety procedures.
- Check-engine diagnosis, coding and scheduled maintenance.
Alfa Romeo models we service
| Model | Engines |
|---|---|
| Giulia | 2.0 turbo four, 2.9 twin-turbo V6 Quadrifoglio |
| Stelvio | 2.0 turbo four, 2.9 twin-turbo V6 Quadrifoglio |
| Tonale | 1.3 turbo plug-in hybrid |
| 4C and 4C Spider | 1.75 turbo four, dual-clutch |
We also see older Alfa Romeo models brought in by enthusiasts. Many current Alfas share electrical systems and parts with other Stellantis models, and the Quadrifoglio V6 has close ties to Ferrari engineering. Owners of other Italian cars can read our Maserati service page.

Alfa Romeo and South Florida heat
Heat is the quickest way to kill a battery, and a weak battery is the root of many Alfa Romeo complaints. In Broward, a battery that would last years up north may need replacing far sooner. If your Giulia or Stelvio starts showing several unrelated warnings, start with a battery and charging test.
Turbo engines feel the heat too. Intake and boost hoses soften and crack after many hot summers, which causes low power and check-engine lights. Long idles in traffic on I-95 or Sunrise Blvd keep under-hood temperatures high, and the A/C runs nearly all year. We check coolant condition, hoses and A/C performance on every visit.
Humidity affects brake fluid as well. An Alfa that sits for weeks in a damp garage collects moisture in the fluid, which matters on a brake-by-wire car. A brake fluid flush on schedule keeps the system healthy.
Signs your Alfa Romeo needs a visit
- Start-stop or brake system messages that appear and disappear.
- Low power and a check-engine light, which often means a boost leak.
- A coolant smell or a temperature gauge that climbs in traffic.
- A clunk from the front over bumps from worn control arm bushings.
A scan and a quick battery test usually point us in the right direction.
