Common SRT and Hellcat repairs we handle
- Supercharger service: belts, tensioners, idler pulleys, intercooler pumps, heat exchangers and boost leaks on the 6.2 supercharged HEMI in the Hellcat, Redeye, Demon, Durango SRT Hellcat, Ram TRX and Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
- 6.4 and 5.7 HEMI engines: lifter and camshaft wear, exhaust manifold bolt leaks, misfires, oil leaks and MDS faults.
- Cooling system: radiators, water pumps, thermostats, hoses and the separate low-temperature circuit that cools the supercharger intercooler.
- Transmissions: 8-speed automatic fluid service and shift diagnosis, Tremec 6-speed clutch and hydraulic work, and driveshaft and differential service.
- Brakes: Brembo calipers, pads, rotors, fluid flushes and ABS faults. These are heavy, fast cars, and they use their brakes hard.
- Suspension: adaptive dampers, Ram TRX Bilstein shocks, Grand Cherokee air suspension, control arms and alignment.
- 4x4 and AWD: transfer cases, front differentials and axles on the Trackhawk, Durango and TRX.
- Electrical: battery drain, Uconnect faults, sensors and key programming.
- A/C, tires and pre-purchase inspections, including for buyers checking a used Hellcat or Viper.

Heat, superchargers and South Florida traffic
A supercharged HEMI makes a great deal of heat, and Broward summers give it little room. Long idles on I-95, Sunrise Blvd and Oakland Park Blvd keep the engine and the intercooler loop hot with little airflow. A weak intercooler pump or a partly blocked heat exchanger lets intake temperatures climb, and the engine computer pulls power to protect itself. Owners often notice the car feels flat on a hot afternoon.
We check the main cooling system and the supercharger circuit separately, test the intercooler pump, and inspect the supercharger belt and pulleys. A cracked or glazed belt can squeal, slip or shred, and replacing it early is a small job.
Humidity and salt air near the beach also attack Brembo caliper hardware and brake lines. On every visit we pull the wheels when needed, measure pads and rotors and look for corrosion.
Modified cars
Many SRT and Hellcat owners add pulleys, intakes, exhausts or tunes. Tell us what has been changed so we can diagnose correctly. We can advise on tune options and how changes may affect warranty coverage and reliability. Our work is diagnosis, repair and maintenance.
Signs your SRT or Hellcat needs a visit
- A tick or knock from the engine that gets louder with speed.
- A squeal or chirp from the supercharger belt.
- Power that drops off on hot days, or a temperature gauge that climbs in traffic.
- Harsh, late or flared shifts from the 8-speed automatic.
- A pulsing brake pedal or grinding from the wheels.
What to expect on your visit
- Visit either shop 7 days a week, 8 AM – 7 PM. After hours, you can drop off at Oakland Park, where the lot is open 24 hours and keys go in the front-door drop box.
- Full scan and photo inspection.
- Written estimate on your phone, with priorities marked.
- Repair and road test after your approval, backed by our 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty.
