Escalade air ride in Florida heat

An Escalade with Air Ride works its compressor hard in Broward. Heat and humidity bring moisture into the system, and the rubber air springs dry out and crack in the sun. The first signs are a corner that sits low after parking overnight, a compressor that runs longer than usual, or a suspension service message on the dash.

We test each spring and line for leaks, check the compressor and dryer, read the suspension module and recalibrate ride height after any repair. Catching a slow leak early often saves the compressor, which can overheat when it runs nonstop to keep a leaking corner up.

Magnetic Ride Control dampers can also leak or throw codes. We test each damper and its wiring and replace only what has failed.

Blackwing care

The CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing are built to be driven hard, and Broward traffic is hard on them in other ways. Long idles on I-95 and Sunrise Blvd load the cooling system and the intercooler circuit, and short trips keep oil from reaching full temperature. We check coolant, the intercooler pump and the oil on every visit, and inspect brakes and tires closely because these cars use them heavily.

If your Blackwing has been modified, tell us what was changed. We can advise on tune options and how they may affect warranty coverage, but our work is diagnosis, repair and maintenance.

Lyriq and Celestiq EV maintenance

Cadillac EVs still need regular care. We rotate and replace tires, align the car, service brakes, replace cabin filters, check coolant for the battery thermal system, test the 12-volt battery and repair A/C, body and glass. We use high-voltage safety procedures whenever we work near the drive system. High-voltage battery pack repairs and software updates stay with the manufacturer, and we tell you plainly when a job belongs there.
