Lotus service we handle
- Inspections with photos: a full look at the chassis, suspension, brakes, fluids, tires and body, sent to your phone.
- Oil and fluid service: engine oil, coolant, brake fluid and transmission fluid at the intervals Lotus sets.
- Brakes: pads, rotors and fluid flushes. Track-day cars need fresh fluid more often.
- Tires and alignment: mounting, balancing and alignment on low, light cars that are sensitive to setup.
- Suspension checks: dampers, bushings, ball joints and ride height.
- Cooling system: leak checks and careful bleeding of the long coolant lines that run from the front radiator to the mid-mounted engine.
- A/C service and cooling complaints.
- Electrical diagnosis: battery drain, charging faults, lights, sensors and warning lamps.
- Detailing, ceramic coating and paint protection film for composite and painted body panels.
- Help with warranty claims, with photos and scan reports to support your case.
Some procedures on these cars are factory-only. Call the shop first and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do on your model.

A Lotus in South Florida
A Lotus is light and low, and it is built for feel. That makes it sensitive to things a heavier car would shrug off. Tire pressure that is a few pounds off, a worn bushing or an alignment knocked out by a pothole on Oakland Park Blvd all show up in the steering right away. We check setup on every visit.
Heat is the other big factor. The engine sits behind you, and the radiator sits up front, so coolant travels a long way through the car. Air pockets after a coolant service can cause overheating. We bleed the system carefully and confirm the fans cycle at temperature. Broward summers also push the A/C hard, and older Elise and Exige A/C systems were never generous.
Many Lotus cars are weekend cars. When a car sits for weeks, batteries go flat and tires develop flat spots. A battery maintainer and a quick check before a drive up A1A help keep it ready.
Signs your Lotus needs a visit
- The temperature needle climbing in traffic.
- A darting or nervous feel at highway speed on I-95.
- A soft brake pedal after a spirited drive or a track day.
- A battery that keeps going flat between drives.
What to expect on your visit
