High-performance Japanese cars
Our shops specialize in European, exotic and electric cars. That is why owners of a Nissan GT-R, Lexus LC 500, Acura NSX or Toyota Supra bring them here. These cars ask for the same habits a Porsche or Ferrari does: a full scan before any parts are ordered, the correct fluids, careful lifting and torque specs that are followed to the number.
- Nissan GT-R: dual-clutch transmission fluid service, brakes, cooling and alignment.
- Lexus LC 500, RC F and IS F: 5.0 V8 service, 10-speed and 8-speed automatic fluid, brakes and tires.
- Acura NSX: brakes, tires, 12-volt and cooling checks on the hybrid system.
- Toyota Supra: the inline-six shares its design with BMW, which our BMW repair team knows well.
- Civic Type R, WRX STI, Elantra N and Stinger GT: clutches, turbo checks, brakes and performance alignment.

How South Florida driving wears these cars
Japanese and Korean cars are known for lasting, yet Broward conditions still find their weak points. Summer heat cooks 12-volt batteries, so a Prius or RX hybrid that will not power on often just needs a new 12-volt battery. Hybrid battery cooling fans pull cabin air, and pet hair and dust clog them.
Stop-and-go traffic on I-95 and Sunrise Blvd is hard on CVT fluid. EVs such as the Ioniq 5, EV6 and bZ4X brake mostly through regeneration, so their rotors sit unused and rust in the humidity. Heavy SUVs like the Telluride, Palisade and Land Cruiser wear front tires and suspension parts quickly on rutted roads, and trucks driven along A1A pick up salt on brake hardware.
Signs your car needs a visit
- A shudder or flare when pulling away, often a sign of tired CVT fluid.
- A rattle for a second or two on a cold start, which can point to the timing chain.
- A hybrid warning or a car that will not power on after sitting.
- Grinding brakes on an EV that has been parked for a while.
- A/C that blows cool at speed but warm at idle.
What to expect on your visit
- Visit either shop, in Oakland Park at 250 NE 44th St or in Fort Lauderdale at 930 NE 4th Ave. Oakland Park also takes after-hours drop-offs, with the lot open 24 hours and a key drop box at the front door.
- Scan, battery test and photo inspection.
- Written estimate on your phone, with priorities marked.
- Repair and road test after your approval.
