Prius, Camry Hybrid and RAV4 Hybrid owners in Broward should keep the hybrid battery cooling fan clean. Pet hair and dust block the intake under the rear seat, the battery runs hot, and the car shows a hybrid warning. We clean the fan and duct, check the battery block voltages and the inverter coolant, and test the 12-volt battery, which causes many “won’t start” calls on hybrids.
