Which shop is closer to Lauderhill
Lauderhill spreads north from the Sunrise Boulevard area toward Commercial Boulevard, around and west of State Road 7 (US-441). Both of our shops are due east of the city, so the better one depends on where you start and what day it is. We don’t have a shop in Lauderhill; we serve Lauderhill drivers at these two locations.
- South Lauderhill, near Sunrise Boulevard: take Sunrise Boulevard east about 6 miles. You cross I-95, pass Andrews Avenue, then turn south onto NE 4th Avenue. The Fort Lauderdale shop is just below Sunrise.
- Inverrary and north Lauderhill: Oakland Park Boulevard runs straight east, about 7 miles, under I-95 to Andrews Avenue. Turn north on Andrews, then east onto NE 44th Street for the Oakland Park shop.
- Already on I-95 or the Turnpike: for Fort Lauderdale, use the Sunrise Boulevard exit off I-95. For Oakland Park, use the Oakland Park Boulevard or Commercial Boulevard exit and head east.

Areas we serve in Lauderhill
Inverrary and the communities along Inverrary Boulevard, the neighborhoods off NW 56th Avenue near City Hall on West Oakland Park Boulevard, the streets around Central Broward Park and its cricket stadium, and the busy State Road 7 corridor on the east side of the city. Drivers from neighboring Lauderdale Lakes, Tamarac, Sunrise and Plantation take the same east-west boulevards to reach us.
What Lauderhill driving does to a car
A lot of Lauderhill driving is short and slow. State Road 7, Oakland Park Boulevard and Sunrise Boulevard are lined with traffic lights, and the longer part of most commutes is I-95 or the Turnpike at rush hour. That pattern is hard on a few systems in particular.
- Brakes. Stop-and-go traffic on State Road 7 wears pads and rotors faster than open highway miles. A grinding noise or a pulsing pedal usually means the pads are worn to the backing plate or the rotors are uneven. We measure both and send you photos. See brake repair.
- A/C and cooling. Idling at long lights in July and August works the compressor, condenser fan and radiator hard. If the air goes warm while you sit in traffic and cools again once you’re moving, a weak condenser fan or low refrigerant charge is a common cause. See car A/C repair.
- Batteries. Florida heat shortens battery life, and short trips never fully recharge one. Slow cranking on a hot morning is the usual warning before a no-start.
- Water after storms. Like many parts of central Broward, some Lauderhill streets and parking lots hold water after a heavy summer downpour. Driving through it can pull water into the air intake, soak wiring and contaminate transmission or differential fluid. If the car stalled in water, don’t keep cranking it. Read our flood-damaged car repair page first.
Every make, from daily drivers to exotics
We work on everything that drives in from Lauderhill: Toyota Camry and Corolla, Honda Accord and CR-V, Nissan Altima, Hyundai and Kia, Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep and Dodge. We are also European, exotic and EV specialists, with factory-level diagnostic software for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche and Land Rover, and we service Tesla, Rivian and Lucid. For Japanese and Korean cars, see Japanese and Korean car repair.
Spanish is spoken at both shops, and walk-ins are welcome at both.
How to get your car looked at
- Call or send photos first. Call either shop, or send the estimate form with your VIN, a description and a few photos. You can also book a visit online.
- Photo inspection, then a written estimate. We inspect the car and send photos with a written estimate before any work starts. You approve only what you want done.
- Warranty. Repairs carry our 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty, honored at both shops.
- Overnight drop-off. The Oakland Park lot is open 24 hours with a key drop box at the front door, so you can leave the car the night before on your way home along Oakland Park Boulevard.
- Pickup. If you can’t get away, call the shop to schedule pickup through our concierge pickup and delivery service.
