Auto Repair for Hallandale Beach Drivers

Updated

Hallandale Beach drivers who want auto repair from a European, exotic and EV specialist use the Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires shop at 930 NE 4th Ave in Fort Lauderdale, about 14 to 16 miles north on I-95 or US-1. We have no Hallandale Beach location. Fort Lauderdale is open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM; on Sunday, our Oakland Park shop is open.

Closest shop: Fort Lauderdale

Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires has no shop in Hallandale Beach. We serve Hallandale Beach drivers at our two Broward shops, and Fort Lauderdale, at 930 NE 4th Ave, is the closer one: about 14 to 16 miles north, depending on whether you start on the beach or west of I-95.

Other businesses in Hallandale Beach use the Prestige name. Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires is not affiliated with them; our only two shops are in Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale.

  • I-95 north. From Hallandale Beach Boulevard or Pembroke Road, take I-95 north through Hollywood and Dania Beach, past I-595, and exit at Sunrise Boulevard. Head east, then south on NE 4th Avenue.
  • US-1 (Federal Highway) north. Through Hollywood’s Young Circle, Dania Beach and past the airport into downtown Fort Lauderdale. Slower, with traffic lights, but no interstate merges.
  • A1A north. From the oceanfront towers on South Ocean Drive, A1A runs up through Hollywood Beach, then follows US-1 around the airport and the port.

Shop address: 930 NE 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304, (954) 562-8045. Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM. On Sunday, drive a few miles farther to our Oakland Park shop at 250 NE 44th St, which is open 7 days and has a 24-hour lot with a key drop box.

Hallandale Beach areas we serve

The condo towers along A1A and South Ocean Drive, Golden Isles and the Three Islands neighborhoods on the Intracoastal, the Hallandale Beach Boulevard corridor, the area around Gulfstream Park, Diplomat Parkway, and the residential streets west of US-1 and Dixie Highway out toward I-95. Drivers from Pembroke Park and Golden Beach use the same routes.

What Hallandale Beach does to a car

A lot of Hallandale Beach life happens in high-rise buildings on the water, and the cars live there too.

  • Garage sitting. Seasonal residents leave cars in condo garages for weeks or months. Batteries go flat, tires flat-spot, brake fluid takes on moisture and A/C seals dry out. Many modern BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche models store fault codes after a low-voltage event, so a jump start alone may not clear the warnings. We test the battery and charging system, scan every module and clear what should be cleared.
  • Salt air. Cars parked on the oceanfront or along the Intracoastal canals in Golden Isles corrode faster at brake hardware, suspension bolts, wheel studs and battery terminals.
  • Heat and A/C. Short trips between the beach, Gulfstream Park and the shopping on Hallandale Beach Boulevard give the A/C little time to catch up in summer. Weak cooling usually comes down to a refrigerant leak, a failing compressor, a blocked condenser or a cooling fan. See A/C repair.
  • Valet wear. Valet parking in tight garages leads to curbed wheels, scraped bumpers and alignment that drifts. Our in-house body and paint team handles the scuffs, and we check alignment while the car is in.
  • Low streets in summer storms. A few low blocks near the Intracoastal hold water after heavy rain. If the car went through deep water, have it inspected before driving it hard.

Cars we work on

Every make. We are a specialist for European cars (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Range Rover, Jaguar, Volvo), exotics (Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati), and EVs and hybrids (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid), and we work on domestic and Japanese cars every day. Factory-level diagnostic tools for the European brands mean coding, adaptations and service resets are done properly.

Common jobs for Hallandale Beach drivers:

  • Battery, charging system and electrical diagnostics after a long sit
  • A/C repair and coolant leak repair
  • Brakes, tires, alignment and suspension, including air suspension
  • Scheduled maintenance on factory intervals
  • Pre-purchase inspections before you buy a used car
  • Body, paint and detailing in house

Questions drivers ask

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a shop in Hallandale Beach?
No. Our two shops are in Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park. Hallandale Beach drivers usually choose the Fort Lauderdale shop at 930 NE 4th Ave, about 14 to 16 miles north.
My car sits in a condo garage for weeks at a time. What should I have checked?
The battery first, then tires, brake fluid and the A/C. Long sits in Florida heat drain batteries and dry out A/C seals, and many European cars log fault codes after a low-voltage event. We test all of it and send photos with a written estimate. See battery replacement.
Which roads should I take from Hallandale Beach?
I-95 north from Hallandale Beach Boulevard or Pembroke Road to the Sunrise Boulevard exit is the most direct. US-1 north through Hollywood and Dania Beach avoids the interstate, and A1A runs north along the beach through Hollywood.

No. Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires has two shops only: 250 NE 44th St in Oakland Park and 930 NE 4th Ave in Fort Lauderdale. We are not affiliated with other businesses that use the Prestige name.
