Auto Repair for Sunny Isles Beach Owners

Updated

Sunny Isles Beach owners who want auto repair from a European, exotic and EV specialist use the Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires shop at 930 NE 4th Ave in Fort Lauderdale, about 18 to 20 miles north via Collins Avenue (A1A) or I-95. We have no Sunny Isles Beach location. Fort Lauderdale is open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM; on Sunday, our Oakland Park shop is open.

Closest shop: Fort Lauderdale

Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires has no shop in Sunny Isles Beach, or anywhere in Miami-Dade County. We serve Sunny Isles Beach owners at our two Broward shops. The Fort Lauderdale shop, at 930 NE 4th Ave, is the closer one: roughly 18 to 20 miles north of the Sunny Isles Boulevard bridge.

Routes owners use:

  • Collins Avenue (A1A) north. Through Golden Beach into Hallandale Beach, then west on Hallandale Beach Boulevard to I-95 north. Exit at Sunrise Boulevard, head east and turn south on NE 4th Avenue.
  • Sunny Isles Boulevard (NE 163rd Street) west. Across the bay to Biscayne Boulevard, then on to I-95 north. The William Lehman Causeway at NE 192nd Street is the other way over to US-1 in Aventura.
  • US-1 north. From Aventura, Biscayne Boulevard becomes Federal Highway and runs north through Hallandale Beach, Hollywood and Dania Beach into downtown Fort Lauderdale. More lights, no interstate.

Shop address: 930 NE 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304, (954) 562-8045. Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM, closed Sunday. On Sunday, our Oakland Park shop at 250 NE 44th St is open 8 AM to 7 PM, and its lot is open 24 hours with a key drop box if you want to leave the car the night before.

Sunny Isles Beach areas we serve

The high-rise towers along Collins Avenue from the Haulover end up to Golden Beach, the bayside condos and townhomes off Sunny Isles Boulevard, the neighborhoods around Heritage Park and Samson Oceanfront Park, and the streets near the Newport Fishing Pier. Aventura and Bal Harbour owners can also see our page for Miami and Aventura European and exotic car repair.

Oceanfront high-rise living is hard on cars

Sunny Isles Beach is almost entirely towers on a narrow barrier island. That creates a specific pattern of problems.

  • Months in a garage. Seasonal owners leave cars in building garages for the summer. Batteries drain, tires flat-spot, brake fluid absorbs moisture and A/C seals dry out. Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Rolls-Royce models draw power while parked, and some need a reset with diagnostic software after the battery goes flat. See battery replacement.
  • Salt air on a barrier island. Every car here lives a block or two from the ocean. Brake calipers, rotors, suspension bolts, wheel studs and underbody fasteners corrode faster. We inspect them on every visit and photograph what we find.
  • Garage ramps and valet. Steep ramps and tight turns in tower garages scrape splitters and front bumpers and wear tires on the inside edge. Low cars may need their nose-lift systems checked. Valet use also means curbed wheels.
  • Air suspension. Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz GLS and S-Class, Porsche Cayenne and Panamera, and Rolls-Royce models ride on air springs that dislike heat and long periods without use. A car sitting low in the garage after a long trip is a common sign. See air suspension repair.
  • Flooding on Collins and the bay side. Heavy rain and king tides put water on low parts of Collins Avenue and the bayside streets. Water in the cabin, wiring or modules can cause faults that appear weeks later.

Cars we work on

Every make, with a focus on the cars most common in Sunny Isles Beach garages: Mercedes-Benz including AMG and G-Class, BMW, Porsche, Range Rover, Audi, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Maserati, Tesla, Rivian and Lucid. Domestic and Japanese cars are welcome too. Our technicians use factory-level tools such as Mercedes XENTRY, BMW ISTA and Porsche PIWIS-level software. See exotic car service.

How it works

  1. Call the Fort Lauderdale shop at (954) 562-8045, or send the estimate form with photos of the warning lights or damage.
  2. Drive up, or have someone bring the car, Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, use Oakland Park.
  3. We inspect the car and send photos of each finding with a written estimate. Nothing is done until you approve it.
  4. Repairs carry our 2-year / 24,000-mile warranty, honored at both shops.

If you’d rather not drive it up, call the shop to ask about concierge pickup and delivery. Our ASE-certified, factory-trained technicians speak English and Spanish. See all service areas.

Questions drivers ask

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a shop in Sunny Isles Beach?
No. Our two shops are in Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park, in Broward County. Sunny Isles Beach owners usually use the Fort Lauderdale shop at 930 NE 4th Ave, about 18 to 20 miles north.
My car has been parked in the building garage all summer and shows warning lights. What now?
Don't clear the codes and drive off. A flat or weak battery can leave stored faults in many modules on modern European and exotic cars. We test the battery and charging system, scan every module and tell you what is real and what came from low voltage, with photos and a written estimate.
Can someone else drop off my car for me?
Yes. A family member, assistant or building staff member can bring the car to either shop. We send photos and the written estimate to you, and nothing is done until you approve it. You can also call the shop to ask about concierge pickup and delivery.
Two shops. One standard.
