Closest shop: Fort Lauderdale
Prestige Auto Repairs & Tires does not have a shop in Dania Beach. Dania Beach drivers use our Fort Lauderdale shop at 930 NE 4th Ave, a short drive north: about 6 to 8 miles from most of the city, depending on whether you start near the beach or west of I-95.
- US-1 (Federal Highway) north. From Dania Beach Boulevard, Federal Highway runs north along the east side of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, past the 17th Street Causeway near Port Everglades, through the tunnel under the New River and into downtown. Stay on Federal to Sunrise Boulevard, turn west, then south onto NE 4th Avenue.
- I-95 north. From Griffin Road, Stirling Road or Sheridan Street, take I-95 north past I-595, exit at Sunrise Boulevard and head east to NE 4th Avenue.
- From the beach side. From Dania Beach Ocean Park and the pier, take Dania Beach Boulevard west to US-1, then north.
Shop address: 930 NE 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304, (954) 562-8045. Open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM. On Sunday, our Oakland Park shop at 250 NE 44th St is open, and it is the shop with 24-hour key drop-off.
Dania Beach areas we serve
Downtown Dania Beach around City Hall and the antique shops on Federal Highway, the beach and pier area, the neighborhoods along the Dania Cut-Off Canal and its marinas, Dania Pointe off I-95 and Stirling Road, the Griffin Road corridor, and the residential streets west of I-95 toward Ravenswood Road. Drivers from Hollywood’s north end and from Fort Lauderdale’s south side use the same routes. See our Hollywood page if you live just south.
What we see from Dania Beach
Dania Beach is small, but it sits between the ocean, the airport, the port and a string of marinas. That mix shows up in the cars.
- Boat trailers and work trucks. Trucks and SUVs that pull boats to the marinas and ramps along the canals work their brakes, wheel bearings, transmission and cooling system hard. Launching at a ramp also puts salt water on hubs and brake parts. We check bearings, brake hardware and fluid condition and show you photos.
- Salt air and corrosion. Near the beach and the Intracoastal, salt eats at brake lines, suspension bolts, exhaust hangers and battery terminals. Rust on a bolt you can see often means more underneath.
- Airport and port traffic. Federal Highway and I-95 around the airport and port carry heavy traffic all day, so Dania Beach commuters wear through pads, rotors and tires faster than they expect. See steering and suspension repair if the car pulls to one side or clunks over bumps.
- Heat-tired batteries. Summer heat shortens battery life, and a car that sits at a marina or an airport lot for days may not start when you get back. See battery replacement.
- Business vehicles. Dania Beach has plenty of marine, aviation and trade businesses running vans and pickups. We offer fleet service with priority scheduling and consolidated account billing.
